Flash Firmware

Before you flash

  1. Connect Token to this computer with a USB-C cable.
  2. Click "Connect" below and pick Token's serial port from the browser's device picker.
  3. If the connection fails or gets stuck, put the board in download mode manually: hold the rotary encoder's push button (GPIO0, the chip's BOOT strap pin) while plugging in the cable, then try again.
Your browser doesn't support Web Serial. Use a recent Chrome, Edge, or Opera on desktop. Web Serial is blocked here — this page must be served over http://localhost or HTTPS.

Flashing rewrites the bootloader, partition table, and application. Account data lives in a separate NVS partition, so a normal update leaves existing accounts and the PIN alone — when the browser asks, just leave "Erase device" unchecked. Only check it if you want a full factory reset (e.g. before giving the device away); that wipes every stored account and the PIN along with the firmware.
